Brief Summary
The University of Pretoria's Javett Art Centre serves as the project's centre for creating a wayfinding system made up of signs that is unique to each location. In order to make the information design solution acceptable, useful, and accessible in this particular environment, it advocates for the demands of the target audience or audiences. Logical, straightforward, and educational ways are used to convey complex information.

Design Strategy - Rationale
Tasked with creating a wayfinding system and signage inspired by an artwork at the Javett Art Centre, this project looks at elements of the building and artworks. One specific artwork inspired the linework and style of blueprints for buildings. The design style and copywriting are created to imitate blueprints. Sketched guidelines and rigid, rectangular shapes support the visual strategy. The design for the signage is interesting yet simple and clear enough to understand.
